About Cycology Today (CYCT)
Cycology Today was a program created and owned by Bruce Buffington to showcase Bicycle related
issues in general, safety specifically. The program is recorded LIVE the 3rd Tuesday of the month
starting April 2008 May's program is scheduled to air on of course, Tuesday, May 20th.
The program is recorded through the facilities of TVCTV in Beaverton Oregon and broadcast LIVE
throughout the Portland Oregon Metro area including most all of Multnomah & Washington Counties
as wells as parts of Marion, Yamhill and Clatsop counties in Oregon and Clark county Washington.

Hosted by Bruce Buffington and co-hosted by Ann Morrow, Cycology Today is a strictly volunteer
program that has no advertising and is taped and re-broadcast on local cable access in and around
Portland Oregon.
This is no longer a call in show for the public to provide feedback during the show. There is a select
group of the public, the NW Bicycle Safety and select individuals that have special invitations to call in
on occasion.
Reason for removal of the public call in was unfortunately due to inappropriate viewers calling in and
using foul language and inappropriate comments. As a 100% family oriented show and FCC
regulations, that type of behavior is not allowed during the time we tape nor would we allow it at any
time for this show.

Inasmuch as DWP does not own this show, providing production services including the primary
Associate Producer Dennis Gleason under the direction of Executive Producer Bruce Buffington, we
were entrusted with being able to make suggested changes to the program where it is considered
appropriate or needed.

| Interested in Sponsoring this show with food or other promotional considerations? The cost of producing a show may be relatively small for a cable access broadcast, but the cost for media, food and web development/updating can turn a simple project to costing about $50.00 or more per episode assuming that the tapes are re-used (they cost around $20/ea new) and gas expenses for crew and talent are donated. Get your company cheap exposure by offering to supply some of our expense items, food being the one in most need. We add your company (or name if private support) to lower thirds during the show as well as noting in the closing credits. | Actor or talent? Are you interested in getting on TV to build your resume and experience? We are searching for individuals that have prior movie, television or theatre acting experience to help out with some of our shows, new projects and desire TV credits. Although DWP does have a pay service to get you exposure, we may often reduce or eliminate the costs if you already have credits to your name and you provide us with support on our projects as an in kind compensation sort-of speak, plus you get credits for your portfolio. If you are willing to travel to Beaverton Oregon and able to help virtually or via telephone from home, email us with your name, age, residence city and state, interests, experience and if you are willing to provide on site or remote assistance for in kind for studio time and television exposure. All air time is on cable access unless noted. |
